The Brownlow medal marks the AFL’s night of nights not just to celebrate athletic achievement but to showcase the best of Australian and international evening wear.

Wives and girlfriends of Australian footballers take to the red carpet in what is a truly extravagant display of high fashion and couture.

Favourites on the red carpet this year were Belinda Riverso in Simonelli, Jessica McNamee in Manning Cartell and Rebecca Judd in Toni Maticevski.

Brooke Kennedy also looked stunning in a high necked, hand woven gown in silk chiffon, as did Collingwood footballer Scott Pendlebury with partner Alex Davis, both in Versace.
